Tinnitus and Mullein Flower Oil
Verbascum or Mullein oil might be all that is needed to put an end to the type of tinnitus you have. Although it is not stated specifically for tinnitus, if the type of tinnitus you have is caused by ear infections, or a cholesteatoma, then mullein oil might work its magic, although the results will not be overnight.
The expanding cholesteatoma sac generally causes destruction of the ear drum and ossicles (bones of hearing. Ear infections are common with cholesteatoma and can lead to a foul smelling discharge that may contain blood. Ear infections followed by flooding of the ear during swimming should cause one to consider a possibility of a cholesteatoma. Antibiotics, either systemic (by mouth) or as ear drops, can help control the infection, but will not cure the patient of the cholesteatoma.
Follows an exerpt taken from an homeopathic materia medica:" in chronic dermatitis of the external meatus and drumhead or exfoliation after furuncle. It is excellent in chronic catarrhal inflammation of the tympanum. In chronic suppurative diseases of the tympanum, or in accumulation of debris in the case of perforation. it acts to dislodge accumulations, free the ossicles from pressure, and therby improves the hearing. This process goes on for months until the tympanum has thrown out an amount of debris that is surprising.
Mullein flower is easy to make, you need the fresh flower, fill a bottle with the fresh flowers , cork tightly, and hang it in the sun for a few weeks, until an oily liquid is released from the flowers, add some olive oil, and you are good to go.
