Loss of hearing, tinnitus and vertigo may result from trauma to the head from a car accident, or from a severe blow to the head. Hearing may be lost due to the fracture of the ossicles in the middle ear.Concussion may cause vertigo, or the vertigo could be caused by a hemorrhage into the labyrinth. If the ossicles were fractured, other remedies to consider would be Symphytum 200c, Calcarea carbonicum 30c, Calcarea phosphoricum 30c depending on the particular case, and state of recovery from the head trauma.

The homeopathic remedy to start the treatment resulting from injury to the brain with concussion is not Arnica, as is often popularly thought, but Cuprum metallicum 6c daily for a week,  Then to follow with repeated doses of Arnica 3c, this would cover any internal bleeding. If injury to the head  has been caused by sharp instruments causing  tissue damage, then other remedies are recommended: Arsenicum album 200c, Calendula 200c, and Hypericum 200c, with local applications of Ferrum phos 3x.
